Video: Fantastic lock back at Irish cycling's glory days in 1980s and 90s

Back in the 1980s and 1990s Sean Kelly, Stephen Roche, Paul Kimmage and Martin Earley all played their part at different times in Irish cycling's halcyon days.

We've seen great triumphs since then and many special days, but nothing like the period when the Fab Four were in their pomp.

The Inpho sports photography agency has put together these brilliant videos, below, of the glory days.

Billy Stickland was there back in the day to capture what have since become iconic images of an era we'll never see again.

He talks us through his work during a time when Ireland, a minnow in cycling terms, had four top riders that flew the flag so well for Ireland.
