Video: Extended behind the scenes access on the Rás with An Post-Chainreaction

Ireland's Jack Wilson, with black cap in the background, looks on as An Post-Chainreaction manager Kurt Bogaerts goes through the route of the day's stage in the squad's camper van before yesterday's stage 3 of the Rás.

Here's a great short film with the An Post-Chainreaction team on the An Post Rás this week. The first clip features the riders on stages 2 and 3 on Monday and Tuesday of this week.

We've included some photos below and you'll also find a second clip bringing us behind the scenes on stage 1 when the team made a great start. They sent Sean Downey up the road to mop up time bonuses and then took first and second on the stage with Robert-Jon McCarthy and Shane Archbold when Downey's breakaway was caught.

As well as Ireland's Downey and Irish-born McCarthy, the footage also includes contributions from the other Irish riders in the line-up this week, national U23 champion Jack Wilson.

Incidentally, it's good to see even though McCarthy is an Australian international now, he hasn't complete lost his Irish accent. You can take the boy out of Fermoy, but.....
