The new system looks extremely easy and quick to install and as this image shows it can give you a more aero position for TTs and triathlon, allowing you use your road bike for those disciplines.
This is the kind of kit we really like; it solves a genuine problem and opens up more forms of cycling to more people.
With the boom in cycling across the country over the last five to 10 years, most people who ride have a decent road bike.
But not everybody wants to fork out on a new machine for time trials, to ride triathlon or even to look the part - and go fast as possible - during time trials in stage races.
And that's where the Switch Aero System comes into its own.
Essentially, it's a flip design on your saddle that allows you to move it forward, even on the move, into a more aero position.
And the neat tri bars fixed onto small brackets you can leave permanently on your handlebars.
It means you can get a aero position from your road bike without having to take it apart and adding lots of new pieces on; a stress experience, especially in a stage race.
And it means those new to racing or who want to give time trials, duathlons or triathlons a go for enjoyment or simply to get fit without splashing out on a time trial bike.
Have a look at the video and photos below. It retails at $319 - that's €290.
The system explained

How your bike will look with the full system in place.

Close-up of the 'flipping' mechanism that allows you change saddle position from 'road' to 'aero' on the move.

The saddle in traditional road bike position...

... and in TT or triathlon position.

You can see the small brackets on the handlebars either side of the stem that stay in place all the time and which the tri bars fix on to.

The tri bars come in three different designs so you should find the right ones to suit your riding position; this is the 'S bend'...

... and this one is the 'L bend' model. There's also a 'Straight' set-up.
