Video: Cyclists corner raging driver who repeatedly drove at them

This driver repeatedly drives at these cyclists until they group together to corner him. The police then arrive and now there’s a manhunt underway.

This is one of the strangest incidents you’ll see and also one of the dumbest as the driver is so clearly recognisable.

And after this escapade he’s now a wanted man; Scotland Yard in London issuing an appeal to the public for information so they can track him down.

The video below was recorded by just one of the cyclists caught up in the incident.

However, several of the cyclists were using cameras and various videos have popped up online today.

The driver of the car initially seems to be in dispute with the motorist in the vehicle immediately behind him.

But that quickly becomes a running dispute with a large number of cyclists riding on the street.

And on several occasions the man deliberately veers his stolen Audi towards the riders until they group together and corner him on a pavement.

Just then, the police arrive and the suspect reverses at speed before fleeing from the area.

However, he only leaves after announcing to the cyclists that the car he’s in is stolen, warning them he’ll drive it over them.

While an unmarked police car pursues the other vehicle down the street, the driver was not caught.

The incident began near Clapham North station in London and now the police have asked for help in identifying the suspect.

Detective Constable James Preston said: "Luckily no one was seriously injured or even killed by this reckless driver.

“We are still trying to trace him and urge anyone who recognises him to contact the police as soon as possible.

“The sooner you call us, the sooner we can take this dangerous driver off the road.

"We’d also like to hear from anyone who witnessed this first-hand to call us as well.

“ Anything you may be able to remember and tell us could really help this investigation."

In this incident he pulls into a side street and then reverses towards the cycle lane at speed.

He seemed to challenge the driver behind. But then realised he’d left his handbrake off. And when the other motorist opened his door to get out of his own vehicle, Slim Shady backed off.
