Video: Cyclists in scary near-miss as two lorries collide and smash up

A split second after this shot, the two cyclists circled come as close to death as you can but survive.

We’ve brought you some pretty scary footage of bad accidents and near misses in our time, but this clip ranks up there with the most frightening.

How these two cyclists roll away from this apparently physically unscathed is truly miraculous given the size of the vehicles colliding right beside them and smashing to pieces all around them.

The incident occurred in Kirovskaya Oblast, near Russia, with two lorries colliding right beside the riders as they amble along.

The collision does not involve the cyclists but when the debris from both vehicles is sent flying in every direction, it is almost comical to see the cyclists still on their bikes when the dust settles.
