Both cyclist and female pedestrian were sent flying when the gap between two buses suddenly became very crowded in what was already chaotic traffic.
The clip below was posted on YouTube by a cyclist identified as Ricardo Escobar, who came a cropper in traffic in Chile.
He was whipping through the gridlock a bit on the quick side, and when a pedestrian poked her nose out as Escobar was trying to squeeze between two buses, both were sent flying.
He posted the clip with the following simple message:
“I used to ride my bike in the city like an asshole, this is the result.
“No need to say that we're in Chile. No bicycle lanes, laws, nothing.”

Luckily, while both undoubtedly got a massive shock and a few aches and pains, they seem to walk away from the incident with no lasting injury.
This still captures the pedestrian just about to walk through the buses a nanosecond before she is ploughed into by the cyclist.
