Road safety campaigners say you should always expect the unexpected and here’s a clip that really proves that adage.
It was recorded in Sydney, Australia, in recent days and captures a sweeping move by the driver of a 4X4 pulling a large low trailer.
The cyclist are going downhill when the driver pulling the trailer pass them.
But it looks from the like as if the vehicle is turning left after passing the group, only for it to swing around and turn right.

The lead cyclist finds his path blocked by the trailer going across the road and while he seems to slow down he isn’t able to come to a stop and avoid the collission.
The rider involved, Jerry Larrett, said he was amazed at the driver’s attitude.
“The thing that upset me is he didn’t come back to check if I was OK,” he said. “He didn’t acknowledge what he’d done and apologise.”
