The cyclist sprays the driver with his bottle then things really get out of hand; and all with oncoming traffic heading their way.
Most of us have probably been tempted to lash out at a motorist when we’ve felt wronged.
And we’ve probably almost all been in a group when somebody decides to spray water at a vehicle being driven in a way they object to.
But it’s never a good idea to do it and it’s certainly never a good idea to throw or spray something into a driver through an open window.
That’s what happened yesterday morning during this dispute in traffic in Mitcham, south London.
The footage shows a cyclist catch up with a van, with the bike rider clearly annoyed about something that happened back the road.
The cyclist protests with the driver that he had only just avoided hitting him during the earlier incident.
And when the van moves off the cyclist pursues it and sprays his water bottle towards the driver.
The van then changes direction sharply, with the cyclist almost coming off his bike either through fright or being hit by the vehicle.
Thank God for the vigilance of the driver coming in the opposite direction who slowed to a stop.
This could very have easily ended in tragedy. Be careful out there people!
