A cyclist out for a bike ride in recent days in Australia got a rude awakening after being knocked off her bike by a flying kangaroo.
The animal happened to be cutting across the road at the exact moment a group of cyclists were passing.
The lead rider was knocked of her bike when the kangaroo hit her with some speed on the head and upper body.

Known only as Rebecca, reports in Australia say she did not suffer serious injury.
But she was undoubtedly left stunned, also suffering a partially dislocated shoulder.
The incident occurred last Friday, Australia Day, at Boonah about 100km west of the Gold Coast.
