Cyclists in Argentina have become online heroes after rescuing an abandoned dog when one of the riders put the animal on his bike and cycled him to safety.
The three cyclists from Villa Regina found the disorientated and dehydrated dog in the middle of the road having been abandoned.
They decided to play good Samaritan; one of the riders carrying the dog on his shoulders back to the town where it would be safe.
Video footage (below) of the rescue was posted by Marican Team, from the south of Argentina, on Facebook and it had been viewed over 600,000 times at the time of writing.
Photos and the video were shared with the message: “Rodri, Alan and Emiliano from Villa Regina helped an abandoned dog that was dehydrated during their training.”
