Conor Dunne has gone back to Omloop Het Nieuwsblad for Global Cycling Network to watch the race as a fan.
Having ridden the near 200km Belgian cobbled classic during his pro days, Dunne has thrown himself in watching from the roadside.
In the video below - on a pretty miserable day last month - former Irish champion Dunne and fellow presenter Oliver Bridgewood crisscross the course in a bid to see the action at several spots.
Dunne, which characteristic good cheer, throws himself into the experience to produce a video that is well worth a look.
It's an interesting behind the scenes glimpse into big time pro racing and the effort required when taking to your bike to watch one of these events.
And, though we don't need to say so at this stage, it's the only video like this we'll see from a bike race for quite some time.
