The ambulance driver was repeatedly told to get out of the way but still he managed to cause chaos and very nearly hit an under pressure U23 TT rider.
Young German rider Marco Mathis had to be on his toes in this afternoon’s U23 TT at the World Championships in Doha to avoid being hit by this ambulance.
In the clip below, a safety car can be seen repeatedly telling the ambulance to get out of the way and push head of the rider just behind.

At one point the safety car driver was even waving his hand out the window urging the ambulance to move.
But the warnings didn’t seem to lodge in the driver’s brain and when they reached a roundabout 22-year-old Mathis narrowly missed the ambulance, with the TV moto just behind.
