Video: Check out Nicolas Roche's team's new kit especially for the Tour de France

It's pretty cool of Roche's team to respect the yellow jersey of the Tour de France by coming up with a kit for the race of a completely different hue. What do you think of the finished product?

Keen to differentiate their usual yellow kit from the leader's jersey in the Tour de France, the Tinkoff-Saxo team of Nicolas Roche has come up with a new jersey and shorts especially for this year's race.

It's certainly a lot more hi-vis than maillot jaune and will also help drive merchandise sales, though any fans with the regular kit may be just a little cheesed off to find their investment out of the date with the season only at the half way point.

By the sounds of team owner Oleg Tinkoff in the clip below, it's a first step on the road to remodelling the team as Russian outfit and taken it away from its Danish routes now that he has acquired it from Bjarne Riis.

Irrespective of the colour, let's hope Roche gets a shot of going up the road in his new gear irrespective of his team duties in the service of leader Alberto Contador.

Roche is the kind of lad who'd look good in a bin liner, to be fair.
