This moto got stuck just after the start line of this US criterium and the riders simply piled into the back of it; this is absolutely crazy.
Made up of riders on track bikes - with fixed wheels and no brakes - the Red Hook Criterium in New York is a demolition derby at the best of times.
It is littered with crashes every year as riders have no brakes to call upon when something goes wrong up ahead of they get their lines wrong.
And while some of the spills really call into question the purpose of the race, it is the other riders piling into the already crashed riders is the worst of it.
Last night a moto seemed to stall in the middle of the road just after the start. The riders all sprint away from the start line only for a big group of them to pile into the back of the bike.
