Video: Belgium Tour sprint finish on flyover looked absolutely crazy
The sprint finish, atop what looks like a hump back bridge, in Belgium is the weirdest we've seem for a long time.
Martyn Irvine wasn’t the only rider licking his wounds after crashing on the opening stage of the Baloise Belgium Tour yesterday.
Despite plenty of attacks, the finish came down to a bunch sprint in Knokke-Heist on what can only be described as a promenade flyover.
The finishing straight kicks up sharply and after the riders cross the line they dart over the top of the manmade incline and down the other side.
The videos below capture not only a huge crash in the final couple of hundred metres but also the tricky stretch just after the line.
