Fans huddled under trees for shade as they watched the action at the Santos Tour Down Under in Australia! It was a WARM one down there for today's opener.

South Australia is currently experiencing scorching hot temperatures as the Tour Down Under weaves its way around the Adelaide region.
The opening stage was so hot that organisers took the sensible decision to shorten it by around 30 kilometres from 145 down to 118.
All morning, social media was alive with messages and posts describing just how hot it was, with temperatures well over 40 degrees.
But nobody summed it up better than the good people at RIDE Cycling review.
The Australian-based media company made a time-accelerated video of an egg starting to cook on the pavement in Adelaide, which gives one an idea of what the riders face.
The egg (obviously!) didn't fry like it would in a frying pan, but it definitely began to cook around the edges - that's hot!
Take a look.
In case you were wondering... yes, it is hot enough to cook an egg. #tdu @tourdownunder pic.twitter.com/343ADlKWL9
