An Ag2r-La Mondiale rider had short-lived TT effort on stage 2 of the Tour de Moselle when his TT bars failed.
The video clip of the incident below also shows he punctured. And the double mishap for Maxime Roger meant he was forced to abandon.
He went into the 20.5km race against the clock in 2nd place overall. And he said he was doing about 60km per hour when the crash occurred.
However, while he was forced out of the race a medical check confirmed he had not sustained any serious injury.
