Upcoming National Cyclocross Championships to be broadcast live

The National Cyclocross Championships will be broadcast live online by the Irish Independent newspaper, on its website and social media channels.

While the championships were not held last season due to Covid-19, they were livestream the previous year.

On that occasion TG4 was the Cycling Ireland broadcast partner, though that has now switched to the Irish Independent.

This time around Eurosport commentator Declan Quigley will again be on hand to call the action as the first Irish titles of the year are decided from the youth to Masters categories.

Hosted by Square Wheels CC and sponsored by ABC Council, the championships take place on the weekend of January 8th and 9th on the 300-acre Palace Demesne in Armagh city.

Champs schedule

Saturday 8th: 9.00am – 2.00pm – U6 Fun race, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16. Racing will take place on a separate youth course and also on the main course.

Sunday 9th: 9.00am – 4pm – Men juniors, M40, M50, M60, Masters Women, Senior Women, Senior Men. Racing takes place on the main course.
