Adam Rafferty may have had his season interrupted by exams this year but he still took some great results on the biggest stages in 2024, including 10th in debut in the U23 TT at the World Road Championships.
The 19-year-old competed for Continental team Hagens Berman Jayco this year, which is regarded as one of the best development squads in the world for U23 talent. Its alumni include Rafferty's brother Darren, now a World Tour pro with EF Education-EasyPost and the Irish elite and U23 road race champion.
The younger of the two brothers will continue to race with Hagens Berman Jayco next year, where he will be joined by two new signings who have won world titles on the track.
Australian Wil Holmes and Spanish rider Rubén Sánchez complete the 15-man roster for next year. Holmes is the reigning junior individual pursuit champion, and world hour record holder, while Sánchez was the elimination race world champion last year.
Dutchman Jesse Kramer also joins the squad from Team Visma-Lease a Bike Development while Daniel Moreira, a sprinter from Portugal, joins from Willebrord Wil Vooruit Juniors. Will Eaves, a 20-year-old from Australia, has also been signed and is mooted as a general classification rider.
Top Danish junior sprinter and TT rider Carl Emil Just Pedersen also steps up to the U23 ranks with the US-based team in 2025 and joins from CeramicSpeed Herning CK Junior.
Among those remaining at the team for 2025 are Ireland's Rafferty, Gonçalo Tavares from Portugal, Great Britain's Ben Wiggins and Australia's Hamish McKenzie.
