As the chaos raged outside the race village before the stage start in Vielha today, Natnael Berhane (Dimension Data) went to the on-site barber for a little tidy up.
Natnael Berhane is part of the Dimension Data team in the Tour de France and the Eritrean is definitely making the most of the experience, as this photo suggests.
It’s a massive day in the race and the 184.5-kilometre journey will go some way towards deciding the outcome but the 25 year-old was anything but stressed about it all.
This morning, before the stage start in Vielha, Spain the 25 year-old was spotted in the race village getting a short back and sides from the village’s resident barber.

Berhane, a multiple national champion in his home country of Eritrea, simply parked up his bike outside and got himself a pre-race haircut. As you do...
Yes, one of the perks of having access to the village – aside from the mountain of free food, is the on-site barber who is there to groom riders.
He was busy too, mind, and on such a blisteringly hot day, Berhane wasn’t the only one getting the ‘match haircut’.
Though two riders we didn’t see were the hirsute duo of Geoffrey Soupé (Cofidis, Credoits Solutions) and Simon Geschke (Team Giant Alpecin).
Berhane cut a relaxed figure and why wouldn’t he?
His team have won half the stages so far; three thanks to Mark Cavendish and another through Steve Cummings.
One of the African trailblazers....
