The Tour of the North has 120 riders taking to the start line and with this selection of top riders skin and hair will fly all weekend.
The Tour of the North looks set to be a great race, with strong Irish riders lining up against some very good teams from Britain.
Spirit Tifosi are returning having taken the yellow jersey twice in the last three years.
The team has a new line-up but will look to continue their great run in Northern Ireland.
Pro Vision are also back for the weekend battle; Ben Joughin having been one of the strongest in recent years and looking to get in the mix again this year.
The Ribble Continental team also have a selection in the race, featuring young Irish rider Jake Gray.
He has been based in France in recent seasons and while he secured a place with Ribble for 2019, a training crash in Spain a couple of months ago sidelined him.
However, he has been getting back into racing shape in recent weeks and it will be interesting to see how he gets on this weekend.
There is also no shortage of riders from the home scene who can win stages or the overall.
Kinning Cycles have put a handy line-up together which includes David Montgomery, Thomas Creighton and Glenn Kinning, among others.
The same can be said of Vitus-Chill-NRPT; the junior team of Aaron Wade, Dylan Traynor, Kevin McCambridge and Will Ryan capable of rattling cages.
Other fancied juniors include Archie Ryan and Shay Donley; the Irish teenagers riding with UK outfit Zappi Racing this weekend.
Powerhouse sport also looks very strong with a team of Brandon Douglas, Cathir Doyle, Lindsay Watson, Felix English and Xeno Young.
Caldwell Cycles can do serious damage as individuals and as a unit with Angus Fyffe, Calvin Moore, Craig McAuley, Darnell Moore and PJ Doogan.
And while Dan Morrissey-MIG-Pactimo will be looking to win Rás Mumhan with defending champion Conor Hennebry or Sean Hahessy, they still have the resources to field an excellent team in Ulster.
It includes Ronan McLaughlin; a man who flew last year when taking a stage win. With him are Craig Rea, James Curry and Ryan Reilly.
Others to keep a close eye in include David Watson of The Bike House; a man who has won this race in the past in some style.
Donal Shearer of Phoenix CC and Ronan Killeen of Lucan CRC are both due a big win and will fancy their chances.
Shearer is breaking through of late and has looked willing and able. Killeen has been around longer and the time has come for him to convert very impressive consistency into a major win.
