
Tour de France prize money: Jumbo Visma, which has already won three stages on the Tour de France and had the yellow jersey starting stage 10 today, has won the most in prize money so far.
The Dutch WorldTour team has won €47,640 after nine stages, with UAE Team Emirates next, taking €33,550, while Nicolas Roche's Team Sunweb has claimed €29,540, the 3rd highest.
Sam Bennett's Deceuninck-QuickStep, with one stage win so far and stints in yellow and green already under its belt, is in 6th in the prize money list after nine stages, with €28,830.
Dan Martin's Israel Start-Up Nation, riding its first Tour de France, has €7,880 and is 18th of the 22 teams on the race.

In the overall there is €500,000 for victory and €200,000 for 2nd with placings 21st to 160th carry a prize of €1,000 per rider. And on each stage there are cash prizes for the top 20; from €11,000 for a stage win down to €300 for 20th.
The points classification and climbers’ classification
are each worth €25,000, €15,000 and €10,000 for the top three. Those prizes go
down to €2,000 for 8th in the competitions.
And the top three on each intermediate sprint get €1,500,
€1,000 and €500. The top three prizes for each HC climb are €800, €450 and
€300.
Cat 1 climbs have prizes of €650, €400 and €150. Cat 2s
offer €500 and €250; cat 3s and 4s offer €300 and €200 for first to the top
only.
Each day a most aggressive rider is awarded and the prize is €2,000. The overall winner of that category wins €20,000.
The best young rider on each stage gets €500 while the holder of the white jersey on each stage gets €300. And the winner of the overall gets €20,000.
The top three teams overall get €50,000, €30,000 and €20,000. And being the best team on one stage nets €2,800.
