*Three fans got their arses out as the Tour peloton passes but when one of them sticks his rear end right into the road the inevitable happens; one of the riders reaches out and whacks his backside.*

A fan who bared his backside, apparently for the craic (pun intended) as the Tour de France passed on Saturday was left with a little souvenir.

As the clip shows, one of the riders had the presence of mind to reach out and give the arse what it was asking for; a good whack.

The trio of fans had each exposed their backsides in a row and turned their backs to showoff their bums as the peloton passed them on Saturday's stage 8.

However, one of them got carried away and he was standing too far out in the road; the video clearly showing some of the riders being forced to move to their left to avoid the man.

But when one rider spotted the mooning sticking out into the road, he let fly.

The men involved seemed to enjoy it; posting this video and a photo of the bun with the pink hand mark after being whacked.
