Niklas Larsen (22) may have enjoyed his best season ever on the road but the young Danish pro has suffered an embarrassing mishap in the off-season.
On a team night out he was doing his stuff on the dance floor when he fell and hurt his leg at Zwei Grosse Bier Bar in Skive, north west Denmark.
Finding himself in considerable pain he was taken to hospital, where a broken leg was diagnosed.
He must now keep off the bike for about six weeks and wear a boot on his lower leg to aid the healing process.

"I just stood and danced, then twisted my foot and could feel something was completely wrong," he told Skive Folkeblad.
"It's super unfortunate that I get into such a situation just by dancing. So I learned then that I have to stay at the bar a second time."
Larsen rode for the ColoQuick team, a Danish Continental squad, this year. He moves up to ProContinental level with Uno-X Norwegian Development Team in 2020.
An accomplished road and track international, he was crowned European U23 points race champion two years ago in a race Ireland's Mark Downey took bronze in.
In 2016, he won the elite points race at the Europeans. In the same year he won silver and two bronzes in the team pursuit at the UCI World Cup, Olympics and World Track Championships respectively.
In the 2016-17 UCI World Cup season he bagged two gold medals in the madison and team pursuit along with a silver in the points race.
This year Larsen claimed silver in the U23 road race at the European Road Championships.
He also won the Tour of Denmark (2.HC) overall this year as well as Lillehammer GP (1.2) and GP Himmerland Rundt (1.2).
