Parts of the world are in melt down on Twitter for the Tour de France. Check out on the tracker below how Europe explodes on the social media platform around the time stage 3 finished in London today.
This really is excellent.
It's a graphic of all of the Tour de France related tweets today, Monday; a day when the stage ended in London.
So every time somebody geotags a tweet #TDF, it registers on this graphic, which records all of the tweets from 4am today until 9pm.
The volume of activity is absolutely massive in the UK, as one would expect.
And as the race ends, the map of Europe lights up spectacularly.
But in huge parts of the world there's not much going on; for large parts perhaps because of the time difference.
But for some territories much closer top the time zone the race is in, the activity for much of the day suggests the UCI's globalisation project still has a way to go.
But it's still very impressive and well worth a look.
Make sure you play around with the zooming in and out and even make the graphic full screen size to get a more detailed look at countries and Continents so you can see exactly what's going on and where.
