Sam Bennett's hand was clearly cut to pieces judging by this photo. And the clamp on his little finger - 10 days after his crash - suggests a really horrible wound.
Sam Bennett has already said he needed stitches in his hand following his opening stage crash in the Tour de France, but in the photos we've seen of him so far his hand has been covered.
It's either been bandaged or covered with a glove when he's been on the bike, in order to keep the dressing and wound clean and dry.
But on the rest day in Andorra today Bennett has shared a photo of the injured limb and he's sporting a clamp on his little finger to keep it packed together while it's healing.

Bennett's been wearing a heavier dressing and a glove on his injured hand, so he looks like the injury is healing compared to this shot taken just after the stage 1 bunch sprint crash that took him down.
When we spoke to him at the weekend he sounded upbeat and suggested Saturday's stage in the mountains was the first - apart from stage 1 when he crashed - that he wasn't on the limit all day.
And by the looks of the face on him in this shot he's staying positive and is enjoying showing off his new celebrity hand.
In a Tweet from the team he's even suggested if the mobility returns to his two bandaged fingers, he can live with the little finger being clamped.
We'll keep an eye on his progress and we'll have all the news about him here on stickybottle for the rest of the race. And we'll catch up with the Carrick-on-Suir sprinter for another interview in coming days.
