Even the 'Irish green' ribbon on this looks sweet; the specially commissioned finishers' medal for next week's National Road Championships.
With less than a week to go before the National Road Championships begin in Omagh, Co Tyrone, some very nice mementos of the event have emerged.
Not a pedal has been turned in anger yet but it seems very clear host club Omagh Wheelers has put a huge amount of thought and effort into staging the road and time trial title races this year.
In the next few days we’ll bring you race previews and information on the festivities being put in place by race director Stevie McKenna and his team.
But for now feast your eyes on these goodies.
The pick of the bunch is without doubt the medals Omagh Wheelers has commissioned for everyone who finishes the championships.
While finishers’ medals have been awarded to the Men of the Rás every year in recent times, to the best of stickybottle’s knowledge there has never been finishers’ medals awarded at a National Road Championships.
And their commissioning this time around will undoubtedly start a trend for years to come – not to mention some pretty impressive collections that will grow down the years.

Omagh Wheelers shared the first photos of the medals on the championships official Twitter feed this morning.
And they’ve also shared the front cover of the special souvenir programme for the event. Again, we believe this is a first.
The good news is that while the programmes will be distributed free to charge to all of the riders and race officials, they will also be available to buy.
Omagh also seems to putting some nice smaller touches to its efforts, producing special ribbons in championship livery for accreditation badges for the event.

Just two days after the time trial titles are settled, the women's road race takes place on Saturday June 27th. Also that day are the veterans' three age-related title races - Masters 40, Masters 50 and Masters 60.
And the following day, Sunday June 28th; the senior and U23 men fight it out for those titles in their combined road race. You can enter any of the road races by clicking here.

The new ribbons in championships livery. Always handy for things like keys and phones once they’ve been used for accreditation badges next week.
