Now approaching his sixth year in the pro ranks with Novo Nordisk, Ireland’s Stephen Clancy will have new-look kit in 2018.

Gone is the familiar all-white jersey and shorts that the team has always raced in.

It’s being replaced by a new mainly navy blue look, with sky blue bands on the chest and sleeves.

Clancy (25) has survived the reduction in the team’s rider roster for next year.

While Novo Nordisk, which features riders who are diabetic, has signed two new athletes it has reduced in size to 16 riders.

UK rider Sam Brand comes from a triathlon background to give pro cycling his full attention next year.
