A 45-rider field has pre-entered for the Leinster & Louth Hill Climb Championships in Co Louth this evening, Thursday.
The first rider is off at 7:01pm, with those lining out facing 1.5km of climbing up Jenkinstown Hill.
Those driving to the event are advised to take the exit off the motorway for Carlingford, follow the R173 for approximately 5km and turn left towards Omeath, just after the Texaco filling station. Sign on is on the left and closes at 6.45pm.
To be eligible for a medal you must be a member of a club registered in Leinster.
Medals will be awarded in the following categories:
- A1
- A2
- A3
- Women
- Junior
- Veteran
Related News
Riders from outside the province can compete. However, there will be no prizes other than the provincial medals awarded.
