The Tour of Ulster takes centre stage over the May Bank Holiday weekend and the start-list has just been revealed. Amongst those who will do battle are current Rás Mumhan champion Christopher McGlinchey (leading above) as well as Sean McKenna. They'll ride for Ballymoney CC Biesty's Centra and Aquablue, respectively.
A small but very strong start-list has been confirmed for this year’s Amber Green Energy Tour of Ulster which is the showpiece event on the domestic calendar over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
115 riders will do battle over three gruelling stages with most of the big names of the Irish scene heading north to Moy, Co. Tyrone where the race will be based.
Mark Dowling will wear number one on his back as the defending champion and he leads a strong ASEA-Wheeworx squad that includes Roger Aiken, Ali Macaulay, Bryan McCrystal and Adam Armstrong.

That looks a formidable team on paper and they’ll look to take stages and jerseys, as will Aquablue who have Matteo Cigala, Conor Hennebry, Seán Lacey, Sean McKenna and Anthony Walsh.

Reigning Rás Mumhan champion Christopher McGlinchey will ride for the Ballymoney CC Biesty's Centra team and will be impossible to ignore while two interesting names on the start-list are Corkman Dylan Foley and Derry native Marcus Christie.
Foley has spent well over a year out with illness but is getting back to where he used to be while Christie retired last year only to miss the bike too much.
