Cycleways CC has released the start list and times for the National Hill Climb Championships which will be run in Co Wicklow tomorrow, Saturday.
The first of a very large field of 76 riders is off at 10.45am with the last rider, Ryan Sherlock of the promoting club, off at 12noon.
The title will be decided on the 10km climb of Turlough Hill, which is ascended from Glendalough.
With a gradient of 5.2 per cent, it is a well known climb with the first segment used in the Rás. It is also climbed during the Wicklow 200km sportive.
There is a challenge mass start event on the climb on the morning of the race. You can sign on for that from 9am to 9.45am, with that event due to start at 10am. You cannot enter on the day for the championship race.

The championship TT is for Cycling Ireland members with a racing licence; A+, A1, A2, A3 and A4. Only A+, A1, A2 and A3 riders are eligible to win the title.
Fastest three riders (A+, A1, A2, A3) will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals. There will be prizes for the three fastest senior, vet, junior and female riders.
