Having first come on board in 2022 to back Banbridge Cycling Club, international communications company Telefónica Tech has now extended its sponsorship of the road and off-road club.

The first sponsorship deal was for three years, meaning the announcement of an extension is significant as it is the first extension and is again for three years.

As part of the agreement, Telefónica Tech's name and logo will feature on the club's jersey, the first sponsor to ever feature on the its kit since the club was founded more than 80 years ago.

While the corporation has its headquarters in Madrid, Spain, it also has a significant presence in the Titanic Quarter in Belfast where it employs more than 330 people. And that Irish association has now yielded the extension of its deal with Banbridge CC.
