Sean Kelly & Stephen Roche to reunite for Irish sportive and evening event

Back in the Day: Stephen Roche and Sean Kelly - aided and abetted by Martin Earley and Paul Kimmage - lit up the cycling world in the 1980s and 1990s. Now Kelly and Roche are set for a great social event and sportive this autumn in Ireland

Having dominated the pro peloton during Irish cycling’s halcyon days Sean Kelly and Stephen Roche are set to reunite for a cycling event in Ireland later this year.

Former world No 1 and ‘king of the classics’ Kelly and
Tour de France and Worlds winner Roche will team up for the 2020 Cycle Series,
run by The Project by Nicolas Roche.

Last autumn Nicolas Roche and Philippe Gilbert were the
star turns at the event; appearing together at an evening dinner and public
interview followed by the Cycle Series ride the following morning.

The event is back again this year and will consist of an evening meal and public interview followed by the Cycle Series event the next day.

Cyclists and cycling fans can attend the evening dinner and public interview only. Or they can combine that evening event with taking part in the ride the following day.

For cyclists only interested in taking part in the bike
ride, they can buy an entry for the cycling event only.

It will be a very rare opportunity to attend an event featuring both Kelly and Roche and seeing them both interviewed together on stage should be a real treat.

Sean Kelly, Nicolas Roche and Stephen Roche will all be on hand for a meet and greet, public interview and Cycle Series sportive in Ireland in early October; the event run by 'The Project by Nicolas Roche'
