Sam Bennett has launched Deceuninck–QuickStep's new team kit for the 2021 season, when it will opt for a darker blue.

Bennett posed in the kit - with the Irish tricolour on the jersey sleeve cuts and neck - and said he was delighted with the new look the team had opted for.

“I am a huge fan of the new kit. The navy is really classy, as we would expect from Vermarc Sport, who are always doing an amazing job with our kit," he said.

"I like that they have kept the iconic blue on top, which is really nice. Some of my heroes wore this blue; Tom Boonen had some great success in this jersey and I am looking forward to wearing it next season and representing it as best I can in every race.”

The team, which wore a mainly white jersey this year, said he had deliberately reverted back to the shades of navy it had used for years but the kit was still being unveiled to mark the fresh start to come next year after this year was hit by Covid-19.
