The bike Peter Sagan will ride next year has just been unveiled. And Specialized has also launched a new Sagan limited edition bike it will be selling, above, and which you can buy if you have the readies.
Peter Sagan has seen two new bikes launched in recent days with his name all over them (though not literally – Ed).
His new team Bora-Hansgrohe has released shots of the 2017 Specialized Venge ViAS that he will race on next year.
The bike’s paint job is the first thing to catch the eye; iridescent silver which reflects the world champion’s rainbow bands.
He will take on the world’s best riders with a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset, with rim brakes and Roval CLX 64 wheels.
Specialized has also launched the Sagan edition S-Works Venge ViAS disc frameset for sale.
Specialized is claiming the bike is built for speed to such an extent it has a “116-second advantage, compared to the Tarmac, over 40km". It will cost around €4,000 for the frame.
