Ryan Mullen is bringing to a close his four-year tenure with Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe and is moving to the team that has been known as Israel Premier Tech this year, though that name is set to change after pro-Palestine protests targeted the team of late.

His new team is to drop the name 'Israel' from its title and be relaunched with a new identity. Its owner, Sylvan Adams, has confirmed he is stepping back from day-to-day involvement in the team due to the break with its Israeli identity.

Mullen has developed into one of the top lead-out riders in the world and moved to his current team four years ago to support compatriot Sam Bennett in the sprints when Bennett returned to the German World Tour squad.

However, Mullen remained with the team after Bennett moved on two years ago and since then has worked to support sprinters Jordi Meeus and Sam Welsford.

More to come.
