Ryan Mullen got lost and ended up getting togged off riding back to the team hotel after his fantastic stage 3 TT win in the Vuelta a San Juan in Argentina.
Having won the stage 3 TT at the Vuelta a San Juan, the press conference afterwards – in Spanish and Italian – looked like the hardest part of Ryan Mullen’s day.
But his adventure still had another chapter to run.

By the time he had the podium presentation and lengthy media interviews completed he decided to ride back to the team hotel.
However, he got lost along the way and had to call on some locals for help.
The national TT and road champion was rescued by a local man and his son who had been watching the racing earlier.
And in exchange for getting him back on track in the right direction he decided to repay them.
He promptly whipped his Irish champion’s jersey off and gave it to the father a son.
"So; I got lost on my ride home today after the press conference," he said on Twitter.
"Stopped a local who happened to be a fellow cyclist. (He) was watching the race and guided me home.
"Felt fitting to give him and his son something in return."
It was a nice touch but one we dare say he won’t be repeating when he gets back to the European winter.
