Irish U23 rider, and former junior road race national champion, Ronan O'Connor will once again race for a UCI Continental team next year after signing for Team Skyline.
The US-registered squad has already counted Irish international riders Conn McDunphy and Cian Keogh among its ranks. O'Connor, who is a climbing talent, joins the team having competed for Global 6 United this year.
He also spent two seasons with top Italian development team, Team Colpack Ballan, and goes into his fourth and final season as an U23 next year.
His new deal was confirmed in a brief statement this evening by Team Skyline, which rides a full schedule of UCI-ranked European races, offering O'Connor a great opportunity next year.
"As a former Irish national junior road champ, and still within the U23 ranks, he is sure to bring some additional firepower to our U23 squad," Team Skyline said of O'Connor in a statement.
"Heading in to his fourth year as a UCI Continental rider, he has a lot of experience in Italian pro races having rode for the well known Colpack team.
"Ronan is a well rounded rider but excels on long climbs and has not been shy of the pointy end of hill top finishes."
