Revealed: The Northern Ireland full cycling team for Glasgow Commonwealth Games

Team pursuit bronze medalists on the track four years ago in Delhi; Sean Downey, Martyn Irvine, Dave McCann and Philip Lavery. Three of the four return, with McCann having retired from top flight competition in recent years.

After an early season of anticipation, trying to meet the selection criteria and impressing the selectors, the hopefuls for the Northern Ireland cycling team for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in July and August have been put out of their misery today, with the full team named.

A total of 14 riders have been selected for road, off road and track events; with three women and 11 men traveling under the stewardship of manager Ryan Connor.

We'll have more later.
