The start list for this year’s Kerry Group Rás Mumhan has just been released with a stellar field of 209 riders confirmed to do battle over the Easter Weekend.
There are five former winners down to start including 2011 victor Sean Lacey (Aqua Blue), reigning champion Mark Dowling (DID Dunboyne), 1999 winner Stephen O'Sullivan Cycle4Life, 2001 winner Eugene Moriarty (DID Dunboyne) and the winner two years ago Damien Shaw (Team ASEA).
In total, there are 35 teams of six riders, with squads coming from the UK, Lithuania and the Netherlands to compete.
Dowling, the man of the moment on the domestic scene, won’t want to relinquish his crown without a fight and he’ll be one of the most-watched men.

With Easter Sunday’s route changing from previous years - this time including a very testing climb towards the finish - Sunday's Des Hanlon Memorial winner will surely target that as a place where he can target stage and overall glory.

Dowling has a strong team too in the shape of John Mason, Timmy O’Regan, Javan Nulty, James Davenport and former winner Moriarty backing him up.
Sean Lacey is still one of the best riders around and would dearly love another title to go alongside the one he claimed in 2011.
His former teammate Damien Shaw, now with Team ASEA, is in ominous form.
Sean McKenna will spearhead the Irish U23 challenge while from abroad, Grant Ferguson (Scotland), Mike Ashurst (Champion System), Bram Imming (WV Nord Holland) and Ruben Dorren (West Frisia) are all back for more.
