Radical new saddle claims greatly reduced pressure on rear end, more comfort

This new saddle design has cut away much of the traditional surface area meaning the bony parts of your bum don't take any pressure when you're sitting down.

The first time somebody rocks up to the local group ride with one of these babies, it will certainly prove a talking point.

It's the new Infinity saddle; sporting a radical new cutaway design that claims to relieve a huge amount of pressure on your rear end.

The idea is simple enough; what remains of the saddle comes into contact with those parts of your backside that are more padded, no matter how lean you are.

The bony bits of the rear end - the sits bones and the bones - which make contact with all other saddles, sit into the cut away sections.

The cutaway Infinity N-Series saddle is made from injection-moulded nylon. It weighs in at 210g and at $170.

There's a slightly more expensive L-Series costing €240. It's a cross between a regular saddle and its N-Series brother with a sunken, rather than cutaway section, see photos below.
