Race-cut Castelli jersey for those quickest off the sportive mark

Register for the Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia Northern Ireland before midnight this Friday, April 15th, and get yourself a very stylish jersey as part of your registration fee

The organisers of one of the country’s biggest cycling events has encouraged those interested in participating to get their entries in by Friday or risk lose out on a free Castelli jersey.

The second edition of the closed-road ‘Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia Northern Ireland’ will take place from Belfast on Sunday June 5th.

And every rider who registers before midnight this Friday will receive a top-of-the-range jersey, covered by their registration fee.

The jersey is one of Castelli’s flagship products and is the choice of kit for many of the world’s top teams and riders.

On the day of the event, there are two options for riders; the 173-kilometre Mourne route which costs €80 or £65 to enter and the 58-kilometre Strangford route, costing €70 or £55.

The race-cut jersey for those who register by midnight on Friday is likely in itself to attract more participants.

It’s easy on the eye with pink and white being the dominant colours, though there is a little black also, in keeping with Castelli’s penchant for simplicity.
