Junior rider Ciara Doogan gets Ireland’s World Road Championships campaign underway in the US on Monday in the 15km time trial (TT).
She is followed into battle by Ryan Mullen and Eddie Dunbar in the U23 TT later on Monday evening.
There are also Irish riders in action on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and next Sunday.
In advance of the first races with Irish involvement getting underway, some of the national team have been out training on the TT course in Richmond.
