The Nicolas Roche Performance Team are seeking expressions of interest from those riders looking to be part of the team for the 2017 season.
Now entering their fifth year the team have a proven record of nurturing the country’s best young talents, some of whom have gone on to forge very good U23 careers already.
Team manager Philip Finnegan said the team have “even bigger plans for 2017” and aim to continue the work done since their inauguration in 2013.
The team are seeking “at least” five new riders for next year but those keen on being involved must be either a first or second-year junior.
Some of those riders who have raced for the team include current Irish U23 internationals Mark Downey, Michael O’Loughlin and Matty Teggart.
And of the current national team at the European Championships the team are represented by national junior time-trial champion Ben Walsh, national junior road race champion Jake Gray as well as Emily Birchall.
The team race an excellent programme of events at home and abroad and as well as being provided with first-class back-up and support throughout the year the riders also get some of the best equipment on the market.
Those interested in being involved should contact Philip Finnegan through the team’s Facebook page.
