Always a very versatile rider on the bike, Nicolas Roche is about to push himself right out of his comfort zone as he has been unveiled as a contestant for Ireland's 'Dancing with the Stars'.

Roche has just retired from professional cycling and is a very popular figure in Ireland. He is one of the few Irish pro riders to become well known outside of cycling or general sporting circles.

“I’m very excited to take part in Dancing with the Stars. It’s a massive challenge for me, and something completely new," Roche said of his upcoming participation in what is one of the biggest TV shows in Ireland.
