Nicolas Roche has proven very popular at meet and greet events in Ireland and is always relaxed and good craic. So if you haven't had the chance to meet him by now, you have an ideal opportunity in Dublin on Saturday or in Belfast on Sunday (Photo: www.triathlonireland.com)
After the success of his classic sportive in Co Meath a fortnight ago, Nicolas Roche is back in Ireland again this weekend and will be appearing at events in Dublin and Belfast.
His first appointment is in Dublin on Saturday afternoon where he will be on hand to meet people in Cycleways, the well known bike shop at 185 Parnell St in the north inner city run by the Connaughton and Cassidy families.
Roche will be there from around 5pm so be sure to call in, have a chat and get your photo taken. It sounds like an ideal informal event for everyone to meet the man himself in a relaxed environment.
The Vuelta 2013 stage winner then heads north to Belfast for a public interview and questions and answers session in the Wellington Park Hotel, 21 Malone Road. It takes place between 7pm and 9pm on Sunday.
The event is being run by Castlereagh CC and Roche will talk about his fantastic season while a video highlights film of him in action will also be broadcast
He’ll also talk about the Giro coming to Belfast next year and will take questions from the floor before there's a raffle for one of his signed Saxo-Tinkoff jerseys from this season.
Tickets are £10 and while you can pay on the door you might be best advised to book in advance. You can do that by contacting Gerry Heverin on [email protected]
They both sound like great events so be sure to take advantage and enjoy yourselves!
