New-look Adidas Irish cycling kit unveiled for Olympic Games

Emily Kay and Shannon McCurley are Tokyo-bound but have unveiled the new-look national team cycling kit before they head off to Japan where they will ride the madison event

Some of the Irish cyclists selected for the Olympic Games have unveiled the new-look team kit for Tokyo. It has been produced by Adidas, the apparel supplier to the Irish team across all sports.

The Ireland track cycling squad, along with coach and London 2012 Olympian Martyn Irvine, gathered to unveil the new kit before they depart for Tokyo to represent Ireland at the delayed 2020 Games.

Madison pairings Shannon McCurley & Emily Kay and Mark Downey & Felix English, along with reserves Lydia Gurley and Fintan Ryan, are the personnel striking the poses in these photos.

Eddie Dunbar, in the final shot below, will represent Ireland in the road race in Tokyo alongside Dan Martin and Nicolas Roche; the latter also selected to ride the TT.
