The British retailer H&M, which has branches all over Ireland, is just about to launch a new range of clothes specifically designed so they are comfortable to wear on the bike.

The new collection has been designed in conjunction with Brick Lane Bikes, the London bike shop synonymous with the fixed well/single speed culture.

“We are extremely excited about the H&M for Brick Lane Bikes collection. Working with H&M to create clothing that mixes cycling with urban fashion is the perfect fit for us. It is exactly what we are about, and what we do best,” said Feya Buchwald, founder of Brick Lane Bikes.

“We are thrilled to be making this collection with Brick Lane Bikes. Cycling is a global phenomenon, with so many men choosing to cycle both to commute and for pleasure. This men’s collection has all the utility and function riders need, combined with a great sense of style,” says Petter Klusell, designer at H&M.

There are 11 pieces in the first wave of designs to be launched. These will be added to for future collections. Keep an eye out in Irish stores and on the H&M website for what sounds like a unique collection for style-conscious cyclists.
