Entries for this year’s revamped AmberGreen Energy Tour of Ulster are now being taken.
The change of format is one of the big talking points with the race being shortened to three stages – and no opening prologue.
The event covers almost 270 miles of tough terrain over the May Bank Holiday weekend (April 30-May 2).
Last year, the Friday evening prologue went up Stormont Estate and was won by Damien Shaw but organisers have opted for a Saturday start this time around.
There are three pretty hefty road stages, ranging between 80 and 95 miles.
The county Tyrone village of Moy is where matters will be based and interested teams are now being asked to submit their entries.
Teams must consist of a minimum of three and maximum of five riders with no more than one guest rider permitted on any team.
The road stages are all changed from last year, though they do incorporate some of the same climbs that have been used in the past.
In what will be a welcome relief for teams taking part, each stage starts and finishes in Moy, making logistics much easier. Entry is £70/€90 per rider.
