With lock-down set to continue for the foreseeable,
Cycling Ireland has launched a new racing league which will take place on Zwift
from this weekend until mid April.
The new Cycling Ireland eRacing Spring League will be
alternate week to week between scratch and points races, with each event
starting at 10am on Saturday morning.
The series begins this Saturday with a 23km scratch race
on the Casse Pattes course, with round 2 taking place on Saturday week with a
3.5km points race, over five laps of the Watopia Seaside Sprint course.
Each week the top 50 riders in the male and female races
will secure points and at the end of the series each rider’s top seven results
from the eight races will count towards their final overall positions.
You can register now by following this link and all details about each round, as published by Cycling Ireland, are included below.
Good luck!
